Roan Mountain Highlands along the Appalachian Trail
I named this image "Touched by Grace". I shot this amazing scene from the Appalachian Trail at Jane's Bald looking over Roan Mountain. With the mix of great light on the grassy bald in the mid-ground, the rhododendron flowers at peak bloom, rays of light raining down over the mountains, and the nice leading lines throughout the image, I thought this landscape scene was just incredible! Hope you enjoy it, comments welcome! ;-)
