Charleston SC Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge at Sunset
The Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge in Charleston SC was completed in 2005 and replaced the old Cooper River Bridge connecting downtown Charleston to Mount Pleasant. I always enjoy visiting Charleston, and after leading my landscape photography workshop there last week I decided to stay around for a few days and shoot some new images for myself. Great people, great food, wonderful beaches, the azalea bloom, what's not to love about Charleston in the spring? Hope you enjoy the view! ;-)

Charleston SC Plantation Live Oaks - Avenue of Oaks
Avenue of Oaks on an old plantation near Charleston SC. The grand entry lane to this lowcountry plantation near Charleston SC features an amazing avenue of oaks dripping with spanish moss lining the drive, really showcasing the grandeur of plantation life in the old south. Convergence - Charleston SC Folly Beach Seascape Photography
The first image from my recent trip to Charleston South Carolina to lead my annual Spring in Charleston landscape photography workshop. Shot on Folly Beach during blue hour, the scene was nearly entirely blue without any other color to speak of. Those of you who follow my work know that I don't usually do black and white images so go easy, but I thought this scene was just begging for it. It's a 30 second exposure to capture some of the motion in the water and clouds. Hope you enjoy it! :)
