The birds are not getting much shut eye these days with the recent introduction of a half hourly passenger service between Ashington and Newcastle. Previously they were disturbed only by the infrequent biomass trains heading to or from Lynemouth Power Station. They take to the air again as GBRf Class 60 No. 60056 Great Gable crosses North Seaton Viaduct over the River Wansbeck at sunset with another load of biomass from Tyne Dock on 15 January 2025.
