As late as 2014, this bridge from 1962 was still towering over the southern end of Brookdale Avenue here; then suddenly, within two years, it was demolished, replaced by the current low-level bridge to Cornwall Island.
I must have driven it in 2014 when I visited Cornwall Island, but I don't remember it; have driven several more times that way on the newer bridge, and so that's embedded in my memory; the older one, not so much.
