Le Mont St Michel in Normandy, France, by moonlight.

I'd envisaged and planned this moonlight shot well in advance and booked an overnight stay on the island knowing that it would be overrun by tourists during normal night time hours with the added complication that the tide would be in. 4:30am, though, was a different matter entirely - I had the place to myself and, thankfully on this occasion, the moon also decided to play ball.
