ANDREW Wilson-Axpe (14) in great form at yesterday's Martin Luther King Mile Hi Classic at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs... Again, he was up against some serious 17/18 year old big guns and, subject to official event timings, looks like a new PB on the cards. (Togs note: ISO5000 @ f/2.8 to achieve 1/1600 shutter speed)

ANDREW in action at yesterday's indoor "Winter Indoor Track Classic" meet at Colorado University's Balch Fieldhouse, Boulder. Due to a quirk in the age category definitions, having just turned 14, Andrew was required to run in the 15-18 year old category and came up against some real giants. He really held his own though placing fourth and rubbed shoulders with some exceptional athletes - great experience. Still wearing his Notts county vest too! (Togs note: appalling light conditions - ISO 3200!)

Emotions abound at rain-soaked Sutton-in-Ashfield Athletics Club in the final county track & field league meet of the season - also Andrew and Alba's last outing with their club. Rushcliffe Athletic Club stormed to win after win, taking top club (juniors) spot for the season for the first time in their history. Andrew (13, pictured in blue) won a blistering U15s 100m event against serious competition and Alba had the thrill of accepting the 2015 League trophy on behalf of the club... Happy Days!

Emotions abound at Sutton-in-Ashfield Athletics Club in the final county track & field league meet of the season - also Andrew and Alba's last outing with their club. Rushcliffe Athletic Club stormed to win after win, to take the top club spot for the season for the first time in their history.
