Thanks to maintenance crews out of our Mount Vernon shop who spent the last weekend of summer paving a stretch of SR 9 through Skagit County near Lake McMurray. The crew added a layer of pavement to each lane to help preserve the stretch before winter weather starts to fall. They finished the work just before rain moved in.
