In 2019, Washington State Department of Transportation contractor crews will repave the busy SR 536/Division Street/West 3rd Street corridor through Mount Vernon, WA from I-5 to the Skagit River Bridge.
Crews will also upgrade 30 sidewalk ramps, creating wide ramps and more gradual slopes and making sure these areas meet Americans with Disabilities Act standards. The improvements will create better sidewalk connections for people of all abilities.
