Heavy rains in early November caused a debris flow to race down Dry Creek's channel near Crystal Mountain Ski Resort. The debris plugged Dry Creek's path with up to 50 feet of mud, rocks and boulders, permanently blocking the creek's channel and forcing it to find a new path to the White River only a few hundred feet above SR 410. It also forced us to find a way to mitigate the risk of a spring runoff from causing similar or worse damage to SR 410.
