There’s a reason this spot is one of the most photographed scenes in all of Lofoten. We arrived well before sunrise under a thick blanket of clouds—grey, moody, and uninspiring. After waiting patiently, we eventually moved on to explore other areas nearby.

But just when we thought the moment had passed, the skies cracked open and golden light poured across the snow-covered landscape. Those who hustled back to the bridge were richly rewarded.

Sometimes the best shots come to those who wait... and run! 🏃♂️💨

I usually capture a panorama of this small range when the light is interesting, but with a lens that can zoom past 200mm, a closer look seemed appropriate this time.
