The Bamboozle Roadshow, Minneapolis, MN
I spent all day yesterday at The Bamboozle Roadshow in Minneapolis. I was primarily just there to see some friends and past clients (The Ready Set, Cady Groves, Carter Hulsey, Mercy Mercedes, Forever The Sickest Kids). I don't really enjoy shooting shows, but spent the entire day lugging around my Mark II and 4 lenses, just in case anything caught my eye. The stages were nothing too aesthetically pleasing, and since all of the sets were done during daylight, there was no stage lighting. So basically, one photo would look like every other photo. I'd much rather just enjoy the performances and the company!
When I ended up on the stage for Third Eye Blind, though, I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to take a few photos. It seemed like one of those once-in-a-lifetime opportunities. I'd never seen 3EB live before, and it was definitely an awesome experience, especially being so close and being surrounded by so many friends and talented people.
