It was 30 degrees and snowing yesterday, so we definitely didn't want to do any outdoor shooting - and we didn't really feeling like having to walk/drive outside, either. The guys were staying with our friend Sagan in Lowertown St. Paul, so Sagan & I wandered around the building that he lives in which has amazing lofts & also offices. It has a lot of vacant rooms and random spaces. It also used to house a Thai restaurant. This was shot in the kitchen - it was horribly disgusting. It looked like it should have been in the Saw movies. If these guys were a hardcore band, we totally would've chained the them to the floor in random corners. Actually, I should have done that anyway...and left them there :) No, just kidding, I really liked these guys!

I spent an entire day shooting Chelsea...so many locations, so many outfits, so many shots that I loved! Some of these were edited long ago, some I just did today because I realized that I liked them. I edited a certain number of her choice in the beginning...and although there were so many that we both loved, once I was done with the first round of editing, I was just burnt out from editing her session and didn't have the energy to do any extras! Now, months later, I was ready to do a few more :)

Casey was in the top 36 of American Idol last season, and when I saw her first audition on the show I remember thinking to myself, "Wow, I'd love to photograph that gorgeous girl!" I was SO excited when I received an email from her about doing a photoshoot and designing her MySpace!

Casey was an absolute pleasure to shoot. She has amazing style, is incredibly photogenic, does great posing and facial expressions...basically a dream come true for a photographer.
