It's fall in northwest USA and leaves have turned and mostly fallen. There was a short break between rain and we went for a walk and this is what we saw.

Taraxacum is a large genus of flowering plants in the family Asteraceae, which consists of species commonly known as dandelions. The flower heads are yellow to orange coloured, and are open in the daytime, but closed at night.
