Zenpukuji Pond (善福寺池) is a natural spring located in Suginami ward, which is part of the western suburb of Tokyo. The pond has been a water source of Tokyo's water supply system.

Forests surrounding the pond preserve the original vegetation of Musashino terrace (武蔵野台地). It is an uplifted alluvial fan created by the Tama-gawa (多摩川) river that rises in Chichibu Mountains and flows into Tokyo Bay near the Tokyo Haneda International Airpot. It used to be a large wilderness that is now converted to Tokyo's western suburb. Population density of Suginami ward is 17,388 per square km as of 2021.

Musashi (武蔵) is the name of an old province that covered present-day Tokyo, Saitama and the eastern part of Kanagawa prefectures.
