Sri Ksetra or Thaye Khittaya is included in the World Heritage Site of "Pyu Ancient Cities," which is located in the eastern suburb of Pyay, Bago Region of Myanmar. It is a walled city of Pyu people that thrived in the Ayeyarwadi river basin before the Burmese invasion in 8th century. Payagyi Stupa is located northwest of the walled city. Hti (umbrella-like ornamentation on the top) is a later addition but looks beautiful and testifies that the stupa is still worshipped.
