Navy Line services 1, 2, 3 and 48 offer buses at least every 7 minutes between Nottingham and Clifton Monday to Saturday daytimes, all pushchair and wheelchair friendly with next stop voice and screen announcements, the 2,3 and 48 also benefitting from free 4G wifi (Coming soon to the 1).

Journey times tend to be around the 30 minute mark on the 2, 3 and 48 to the centre of Clifton, whilst the 1 takes roughly 30 minutes to the top end of Clifton, due to a quicker route via the A453.

968 and 348 are pictured on Beastmarket Hill, with 968 on the 48 running via The Meadows and Queen's Drive to Clifton, whilst 348 departs on a 3 which operates via Trent Bridge and Wilford Green to Clifton.

The new beginnings on Brown Line..... Bigger buses!! Well, three of them at least....

They're being repainted in numerical order, this one the first done, 389 being in the paintshop currently, and 390 still plodding on in Green on 10s....

The three vehicles coming off Brown are expected to go on Sky Blue 46/47 to replace the Slimline Solos, which no-ones sure what's happening to. I'd personally say send them out to Gotham, with their speed, they'd make ideal OmniTown replacements on the 53. What are your thoughts??

To kickstart the modernisation programme at NCT this year, the first new buses have been deployed on the 17, seeing off the 10 plate OmniDekkas which are expected to go onto the 34, which will in turn allow the 08 plates to be sold.

462 climbs Hucknall Road in Carrington with a 17 to Bulwell via City Hospital and Bulwell Forest.

A revolutionary day has dawned on the South Notts 1 corridor.... New buses!! The first new buses purchased for the route since 1997!!

Gone are the clunky and relatively uncomfortable 53 plate OmniDekkas (which were never ideal for the length and time of the route), and in come seven 15 plate Enviro 400 Scanias, all boasting dual purpose seating, free wifi, additional pushchair/wheelchair space, new flooring and even new ticket machines!!

643 arrives in with the first ever South Notts 1 to be operated by Enviro 400 Scanias on a short working from Gotham Depot, pictured at 0529 with the first 1 of the day to Loughborough via Clifton, Gotham and East Leake. The time is actually reflecting through the window above Coral/William Hill from the Council House, which is just across the Old Market Square.
