A single red leaf has landed on the yellow and green needles of my "Golden spreader". Together with the blue fir in the background, a spectacular mix of colors appeared.

The golden/green fir is Abies nordmanniana Golden spreader, the blue fir is Abies lasiocarpa Glauca Compacta. The red leaf from an Acer palmatum Atropurpureum in its brilliant autumn red.
