The National Gallery of Modern Art (Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Moderna) is full of neoclassic and romantic paintings, a stark contrast from many of the collections you’ll find across Rome’s art museum circuit. The museum also houses Italy’s argest collection of 19th- and 20th-century works.
Several of Italy’s most renowned art masters have works on display here, from Balla to Boccioni, to Morandi and Fontana. There are other works of interest, from all over the world, including pop art, surrealism and expressionism, hailing Degas, Monet, van Gogh, and Ernst.
