... we thought we'd seen all of the horses on the east side of the Red Desert in Wyoming. This week, we found a new clan ... made up of five unique family bands. The big gold stallion, 'Oha' appeared as the clan's central figure.

... Morke (left) and Red Charger (right) are from different family bands .... but they're part of a larger bonded group, and an even larger clan inside the wider Stewart Creek herd area. Dust ups like this are often fleeting within a bonded group. They're just a way to quickly establish who's who.
