Alaska is well-known for its polar bear, northern lights, frigid winters and of course its proximity to Russia :). What it's not popular for, yet extremely appealing, is its Fall colors. In the month of September, the lower tundras of Alaska display fall colors in full galor

As you might all know, the lower the elevation of sun, the higher you see the rainbow, and vice versa. And for a rainbow to form, there must be enough water particles in the air, and when sunlight hits them, light gets dispersed forming a rainbow.

This was an unusual sight when an overhead sun produced a rainbow, thanks to the ground-hugging moisture on a rare wet day in the deserts of California, forming a rainbow that was almost resting on the ground.

Thanks for looking and have a good day/evening all :)
