Ashdown Forest, East Sussex - what with this terrible weather, and the threat of another lockdown looming, I've gone back yet again to another image (the 10th I've posted) from a great visit to Ashdown Forest, just prior to the previous lockdown.

Ashdown Forest , East Sussex - good day with these yesterday, a couple of sightings late morning yielded a few images. In the afternoon the wind got up and some rain moved in so I decided to call it a day, however on the way back to the car I came across this obliging guy, the rain stopped, and a lot more images were obtained, eventually in decent light.

Back Garden - first time I've seen them in the garden this year, I counted 3 on the same plant. Last year the max I saw at any one time was around 10. It was pretty grey and quite breezy out there today, so the stem was swaying around a fair bit.
