Autumn Emotion

Autumn has come; cover my heart with something,
with the shadow of a tree or better yet, with your shadow.

I fear that sometimes I won’t see you again,
that sharp wings will grow on me, reaching to the clouds,
that you’ll hide away in a stranger's eye,
and it will close over you with a wormwood leaf.

And so, I draw close to the stones and fall silent,
I take the words and drown them in the sea.
I whistle up the moon, let it rise, and turn it
into a great love.

The little MiniOne looked out over the field of thorns, a true minefield of spikes, and heard his own thoughts echo clearly: “A cactus is not a cushion... but my friend OneEyedGreen always assured me that, though covered in spines, there's sweetness hidden inside.”

Perched atop the cactus, he felt the road was treacherous and lonely, and the distance to his friend seemed greater than ever. Yet, even though OneEyedGreen was far away, MiniOne knew this journey would make him stronger. With thorns at every step and courage in his heart, he told himself that sometimes you have to brave paths no one else would dare, to discover who you truly are
