A heap of rain in a few hours around midday had the creeks and waterfalls jumping. On the walk in I met another local photog on his way out. He said it was just the usual boring waterfalls on offer. If I ever think like that, I'll drop my camera in the bin.

A couple of flies were keeping us entertained (yes, that pretty much sums up our life) while we had our morning cuppa. Turns out they're Long Legged Flies and apparently quite handy things to have around. They were great fun to watch & so beautifully colourful. About 8mm long!

A random find in an op shop had me out to get this shot in the fog this morning. The book cost $1 and has the work of two landscape photogs - Debra Doenges and Andrew Teakle. Sadly Debra is no longer with us but she'd taken something similar to this and it struck me as interesting. Her work still stands up as brilliant. A dollar well spent.
