Diving even deeper into my archives with this shot of a cinnamon color phase of an American Black Bear, taken over fourteen years ago. We found this beautiful specimen gorging on hawthorn berries in Grand Teton National Park.

Was nice to see a Brambling for the first time in Metro Vancouver. I just love these beautiful rare finches that are common in places like Norway but super rare in BC! This bird was seen on Ferguson Rd in Richmond near Iona and found by my friends Tak and Mayumi Shibata.
