This is a view from the Galeria department store on the square called Hauptwache "Main guard-house" in Frankfurt (Germany).

The baroque-style building on the right, the so-called Hauptwache was built between 1729 and 1731 and gave the square its name. It was once the most important “police station” in the city. Since 1904 the building has been used as a café and the square around the main guard-house has become the centre of the city. On the left is St. Catherine's Church (1681).
