Boxing Day 2008 06.59 Bramley garage...two scania buses primed and ready for duty. This was when boxing day buses were a novelty in West Yorkshire. First were to operate the 760 from Shipley to Leeds instead of transdev who normally operated right through from Keighley. The bus destinations were specially programmed for the route, who would have had the foresight to do that nowadays.
The buses although the same animal were very different pedigree, 31097 (8020) had started life with Yorkshire Rider and had been in Leeds ever since, the bus behind 36932 was a West Midlands travel bus and had come into the fleet from black prince. The route was a true one day, one off, for first as Transdev started operating the 760 themselves on boxing day in future years.
