Postauto ADL enviro 500 No 11034 at Buhlen, heading out of Heiden in North East Switzerland. Behind the bus is Lake Constance which borders Germany & Austria, along with Switzerland. In the far distance Friedrichshafen in Germany was where the famous Zeppelin airships were built. I think this is the only place in the world where you can hire a Zeppelin and take a flight...maybe one day.

First Leeds are receiving a few stragglers from the York diesel fleet ousted by electric buses in that city. Some have those eccentric advert boards and stick out like sore thumbs. This is 69279 at the bottom of Roundhay Road in the city operating a 13 service. Almost as bazar as the advert frames, this particular journey on its return is booked to finish in Chapeltown a few miles short of the city center despite it still being the morning peak !

The Danish East Lancs Volvo B7s have had an incredibly interesting life since Copenhagen. Latvia is the most recent place where some operate on the city tour in Riga. These arrived via Estonia but three seem to have settled here. NK-2451 ( former copenhagen 1221 / 2816 ) is seen under the tram wires just outside the old town.

It has been a while since I've driven a Bristol VR, this bus reminded me it had been too long. Bought over the phone months ago, and delivered to me by them, i had not even had time to go see the bus until last week. An impending resale kicked by arse into gear, posed here about to set off on delivery to its new non-preservation owner in mid-June. This is one of three VRs to move home in 2024 to my knowledge, the previous one to Poland.

Tiger European in Nottingham have introduced this very smart new livery recently, one of their stalwart Volvo Olympians being a lucky recipient. A break in the lousy weather meant it was make hay while the sun shines for this capture.
