Before setting off I'd decided I definitely wasn't going up Loughrigg. Nope. Reason being I had a walk planned which meant I'd need every scrap of energy I could muster. Arrive at Elterwater. Oh, an inversion. Loughrigg it is then!
The walk was almost abandoned at Lingmoor. I sat for an hour in full waterproofs watching the rain showers sweep over the Langdale Pikes. Then it cleared a touch and I found myself calculating whether I could complete the walk in the light. Before I knew it I was off. Finished without needing my headtorch, just! Forgot how unpleasant that descent is though just past Megs Gill. Avoiding that one next time! But what a day, amazing.

A beautiful morning in the Peak District yesterday. It all got a little bit frantic.
A letterbox crop this one. Still ended up at 30MP.
