A few weeks ago I visited Middle Black clough on weekend. A lot, lot busier than when I last visited 11 years ago. You can just make out the inane rock balancing monstrosities on the right. These seem to have become a 'bit of a thing' in recent years. "Take only photos, leave only footprints". Everyone was friendly though.
I didn't stay too long but managed a few photos.

I've long since admired the photos from the Beeley Brook area by my valued Flickr contact l4ts
I've made a few attempts over the years to photograph it myself. This is my second attempt at the larger of the drops of the upper falls. The way I accessed it, at least, Hell Bank Plantation feels aptly named.
I did find, at the end of my my walk, that the falls above here are easily accessed with a path. I didn't see a way down to here though.

Beautiful, all day foggy conditions last Friday.
I shot so much I had to tighten up my tripod twice and swapped to another polariser as it became loose.
