Water wash, Lug extensions brazed on, I probably could have did a nice tight line of braze but at the slight risk of starving it, so instead, I just choked it full of bronze instead. Got to match the OD of the tubing to the BB lug anyway which isn’t anywhere near as precise wall thickness wise as the tube, it’s the ID I’m more concerned about anyway and that looks fine. I also forgot to weigh it before the additions, just from curiosity see how much I can limit the weight gain compared to the original casting , be lopping off most of it with the intended shoreline and then tons of thinning. About 20hrs in and all I’ve got is a blank page, I guess it’s somewhat like a painter making a frame, stretching the canvas and doing the gesso. It all outlandishly fun though nothing else compares really.
