Filing/Sanding etc. on the fork crown is done. Need to drill the brake hole and counter ream the the crown race seat. The crown was cast in Taiwan, but heavily modified here in Canada, the steerer was made in Italy, the dropouts right here in this room, which makes it also Canadian and besides the dropouts, no cowboy boots here. The fork legs were made in Fukashima , purchased a few months before 3/11 and today is the tenth anniversary of that tragic event. I have no words. I do hope this Simple fork does some justice to the Japanese culture of extraordinary fine craftsmanship that influences me every day.
