It was a great sunset, and a great night, but this small rock with it's beautiful vegetation caught my eye. Isn't it a lovely night is by The Decemberists, and it certainly was.

I thought it was time for a change , so this is a shot from North Uist, of one of my temporary creations. I think this is a wind clock, and is made out of Marram Grass. The Marram bends with the wind, so you can tell what direction the wind is blowing, as well as acting as a sundial. It's also a tidal clock, as when it's under water it's high tide. Ive got this track, will the circle be unbroken as a cover by Hayseed Dixie, on my playlist.

The weather here in the Outer Hebrides is always slightly different due to Atlantic influence. We've had a fantastic week while everyone else has had rain. These days are mine by I am Kloot is perfect, you have to make the most of them . So many totally isolated beaches to choose from, which one next.
