After a great walk at Craig Carreg Gleisiad, I noticed an icicle fringed cliff high up the cliffside. Although it gave some good shots, I was interested by this natural abstract, which reminded me of someone having a sit down!

You can only get access to these caves at low spring tides, which makes them even more special. It's hard to pick up all these colours with the naked eye, but a long exposure brings out all the beauty of the various patches of algae and rock colours. Even though it's hard to get a sense of scale this is quite a large sea cave.

I love exploring the secret places on the local beaches. This is one of the many inlets carving through the limestone platform of the Deeps at Ogmore by Sea. You can even access it via a blowhole from above. You wouldn't want to be in it when the tide is high as the water forces it's way through, eroding the rocks into these wonderful shapes.

This is an over processed long exposure of waves breaking at Witches Point Dunraven. Even though the effects are strange there's something about it I really like.

It was one of those afternoons where the reflections were fantastic, so it was just a question of what to take. Your brain just makes up strange shapes and creatures!
