You never know what you will find walking the beach. This engine block was slowly being reclaimed by nature. The sea and waves had already filled all the available spaces with small pebbles shells and seaweed. They shone like jewels against the dull metal.

I haven't taken a camera for a walk down the coast this week, but have been to Devon, and been to two great gigs, Alabama 3 acoustic on Thursday, then Wilko Johnson last night . Both were brilliant, I love watching live music. Sneaking suspicion is by Wilko Johnson, and was one of many fantastic tracks he played. Norman Watt Roy is just the most amazing bass guitarist. I've got a Sneaking Suspicion I'll be back down the coast soon though.

Just a quickly taken shot of a local river, I loved the swirls and reflected colours on such a bright day! The title is a Pixies song I thought fitting, as the waves mutilate the trees reflection as they swirl around!

It was a fantastic night last night down the beach, watching the sun go down. I balanced this wonderful diamond shaped stone, and it looked great in the stream of golden light. Diamond in the grind by Cherry Ghost is fine.

We saw King Creosote a few weeks ago and he was superb . Love life is a great track , and i really do. I've been planning to make a bigger arch for some time, so this one was about a metre or so diameter, and some of the stones were on the limit of what I could carry. I think it's a sort of diamond ring for Valentine's day .
