Besides trying to photograph the Northern Lights, we also took a snowmobile trip in the snow covered Borealis Forest… as far as you could see the area was desolate, cold, but magical.

On one of my trips to the Palouse, we were on one the Buttes (maybe Steptoe) and I watched a crop duster flying all around us. He saw us and we could see the pilot waving… He gave us some nice photo opportunities.
