that Miss Daisy has come into our house...
I keep her in my sewing room and we visit her a million times a day... she's doing well... eats, sleeps and uses litter box without issues... it's sad, she doesn't know how to play and she could care less about Purrcy... same with him, he could care less about her!!
She will let me pet her when she's in her cubby... but I feel she's tense, she never hisses or tries to swat me, so that's a great thing...
It will take her a long time before she can trust us completely... God only knows how it was for her living on the street for two years...
at least she knew I always had food for her!!

The green araçari, is a toucan, a near-passerine bird. It is found in the lowland forests of northeastern South America, in the northeast Amazon Basin, the Guianas and the eastern Orinoco River drainage of Venezuela.

Are aracaris good pets?
A favorite species for all as a toucan companion is the Curl-crested Aracari (Pteroglossus beauharnaesii). They are known to be incredibly affectionate, cuddly and the least aggressive species of Aracari. They are our number one species to recommend to an owner who is new to caring for toucans.
