I was after a minimalist shot of this, with glass-like sea, but the swooshing waves proved the better ticket on the day.

On a day out to Margate, in a momentary respite between heavy rain showers, this phenomenon appeared on the horizon. I was miffed my camera was too well packed away to be quick enough. Had to make do with a quick iphone snap. Curious shot - especially as the beam appears to come from the ship.
