Stortorgsbrunnen is a water pump on Stortorget in Old Town, Stockholm. For many years it was Stockholm's zero point, i.e. the point from which all distances for the kingdom's roads to and from the capital were measured. Already in the Middle Ages there was a well on Stortorget. In 1778 Erik Palmstedt drew a new well. Between 1857 and 1953, the well stood on Brunkebergstorg and was then named Brunkebergspumpen.
