It`s often a case of being in the right place at the right time and this was just one of those occasions, I made my way around this area trying to get a number of different compositions down into the valley with that fabulous sky as a backdrop.I bracketed my shots here because of the contrast and ended up blending two together, one for the foreground and one for the sky
I hope I am right about the name of this area it`s beside the A169 Whitby road out on the North Yorkshire Moors . I have many more images to come from my trip to Yorkshire I hope you enjoy seeing them as much as I did taking them.

It was nice just to follow our nose around the North York moors national park looking for compositions, this was just one of them, the lovely old tree against a backdrop of a forested area where the trees are lovely reds and yellows in the late afternoon light .
