When I went out the other evening , I left home with a promising looking sky, as I drove to my chosen spot I could see the dark cloud bank running up from the West. My thoughts of a sunset all but vanished, I then put on the big stopper to get a simple composition and see what the next few shots would bring me I then threw in the towel and headed home feeling a little deflated..

My first sunrise on the beach of this winter, A large cloud bank was hovering to the South East but moving away all the time. Then this tiny bit of colour showed itself for a few seconds then it was gone . I waited and watched, eventually the cloud bank peeled itself back to reveal the sun and some lovely reflections on the wet sand, you will have to wait for those another day or so as I have a number of other images to show.

Many leaves are on the ground now, It`s amazing the different shapes and colours there are as they decay.

Following on from my previous image of sunrise here. The cloud bank started to roll back towards the East gradually exposing more of the sunrise light as it went.
