The Parish Church of All Saints

The fenland village of Moulton is located a few miles east of the market town of Spalding in south Lincolnshire.

The parish church sits in the centre of the village and has one of the finest towers and spires in the county, combined they rise to a height of 165ft.
The church was built about 1180, instigated by Prior John of nearby Spalding, the tower and spire were added some 200 years later.

The Fenlands of south-east Lincolnshire, west Norfolk and north Cambridgeshire are rich in medieval ecclesiastical architecture, because of this the area is sometimes referred to as the "Holy Land of the English".

The Parish Church of Saint John the Baptist

The village and civil parish of Morton is located a few miles north of the market town of Bourne on the fen edge in south Lincolnshire.

The parish church is dedicated to St John the Baptist and sits at one end of the long and wide main street, the church is cruciform with a tall central pinnacled tower. It has a Perpendicular west porch, an Early English nave and a Decorated chancel

The Parish Church of Saint Mary

Long Sutton is a small market town in the Lincolnshire fens close to the border with Norfolk.
The parish church is dedicated to St Mary and sits close to the market place, the grand nave was built in the late Norman period, it has an early 13th century tower only just attached to the south-west corner of the south aisle, the tower stands on four splendid arches long since filled in.
The 13th century timber spire covered in lead is 162 feet high and is one of the earliest well preserved lead spires in England.

The Lincoln Grand Prix is an elite cycling event held annually in the city of Lincoln, the route takes cyclist out of Lincoln and through the village of Burton before heading back to the city and up the famous Michaelgate climb and into Castle Square.

The Parish Church of Saint Peter & Saint Paul

The small village of Langton-by-Spilsby sits in the southern Lincolnshire Wolds several miles north-west of the market town of Spilsby. The parish church is dedicated to Saint Peter & Saint Paul and was built in the 1720's to replace an earlier church.
