One of the recent foggy mornings in Portland this winter. The crows in the foreground are part of the morning rush hour of urban crows in the city that can number over 15,000. They migrate out for food in the morning and return back to the city in the evening. It's really amazing to see hundreds upon hundreds of crows flying in the urban landscape. They live an average lifespan of 13 years, are very family oriented, smart and incredibly noisy!
