Panorama of Lake Okanagan on a windless day. The snow line catching the last of the evening rays. 4 shot merged in Photoshop.

This is the opposite back view of the mountain I was taking photographs of my pet mountain goats. I see why they like it here with that mountain view they have. And all the time I thought they were looking at me.

Still shot over Lake Okanagan. This is actually the opposite back view of the mountain I was taking photographs of my pet mountain goats. I see why they like it here with that mountain view they have. And all the time I thought they were looking at me.
BTW that motor boat in the middle of the lake destroying my perfect symmetry is someone I hope ran into motor difficulties before he got home.

At this point i had been photographing the male mountain goat as he left his lovely wife and cute youngster at the cave. He decided to continue over some really treacherous suicidal cliffs. I grant you he may have been scouting a path for the fam to continue their travels for the next morning, but after descending this vertical drop, I didn't think he was going back to pick up the rest of them. They don't appear to be too concerned about staying within arms reach of each other they way deer do. They are certainly aware of where each other is since the male was well over the northern tip of the mountain and still managed to find his way to the cave. So I have no doubt mom and the kid would find him next day and probably even take the same path.
They are gradually finding their way southward towards Summerland which makes it easier for me to find them each day. Hey if they make their way to the hill behind my house there are a lot of windfall apples that will hold them over the winter.
