Another six inches of snow to add to their misery. I went up today to see how they were doing - i drove past, saw nothing, and started homeward. On the way home i spotted a large male standing on top of a ridge staring downward not moving - this is the scene he was watching - mother and kid making their way up through blankets of snow. Every so often the mother would step into a hole and end up feet in the air. They have the common sense not to take on cliffs at this point since a false step would send them hurdling downward.
