Using Deep Sky Stacker (60 x 42 seconds) + 20d dark - I came across a UFO in one of the 60 shots. It was not in any of the other 59 shots - i'm thinking warp in the time space continuum.

60 stacked images 37 second exposures, 33 black images, processed in sequator - camera mounted on sky adventurer 2. Many thanks to Ian for enlightening me and confirming what exactly i had and where in the sky i was pointing. So i have reluctantly withdrawn my name (Keith's Nebula) as the new name for the Nebula since it has apparently already been discovered.

Third attempt - M101 taken with Sony A7Riv @ 600mm 52 x 90 second exposures with 30 black frames compiled in DeepSkyStack then processed in PS and lightroom.

And to boldly split infinitives. Andromeda galaxy - no stacking - one 1.5 minute exposure using sky watcher and 400mm lens. Just before the sky clouded over and all was lost.

Granted this is no head turning shot but i thought i would give it a try - single shot 600mm. i did try to stack a small group of shots to improve clarity but alas there was not enough light in the originals to trigger the stacking process. The image shown above is at 200% of original size. thankfully the 61mp shot from the Sony keeps the pixilations in reasonable check.
