The light was fading fast as I made my way back to Stourport after a cold Winters day walk to Kidderminster along the Staffordshire & Worcestershire canal .This narrow boat I had photographed in full Sunlight on my way to Kidderminster much earlier in the day but I loved how it looked in the fading light and a little light still catching the trees above the boat

An experimental edit here ....I have shot Findochty harbour many times with the pleasure boats and fishing boats filling the marina but here I loved the light falling on the quay where the small fishing boat tie up to unload their catch ....then the light of the cottages where maybe the fisherman live or lived giving a connection between the two and decided to to try something different ....I'm not sure why this appeals to me but it does
