Usually packed with Black Angus cows , it sits empty and is as cold as the bottom of the planet. A mere 12 degrees and 30 mph winds made framing up way less than enjoyable but a must have must be had.
Dark heavy clouds are the last of the storm we had come through that dumped a lot of snow on top of the ice storm we had a few days ago..
East is to the left side and the sun was just coming up over the ridge, this was about 7:30 am and the light across this field in the morning is beyond delectable every day... Its a magical spot to pass on the way to town.

Melody.. Who is part of one of my projects, her portraits are further down my page, and who gracefully puts up with me photographing her is also a riding instructor and a great lover/owner of horses, let me know she had a lesson going on Saturday so I jumped at the chance.
Weather has killed it a few times in the past so this was an opportunity not to miss. Keeping this young man looking his best was on the agenda Saturday , Melody for sure seemed to enjoy the trimming more than he did .
