This was my first ever girls night out in another country. Many thanks to Jennifer (on the left) for agreeing to meet up with me with her two friends Shannon (center) and Natasha who she roped into coming along.

I reached out on a few different social groups shortly after booking the flights to Pittsburgh to get some ideas of where to go and got chatting to her. I wouldn’t have minded heading out on my own but it’s always nice to have a lovely bunch of local girls to meet up with.

Thanks again Jennifer and it was great to finally meet you in person.

And with that little trip to America I can now say that I’m an international and intercontinental t-girl.

Natasha joins a long list of cross dressing singers and musicians that I’ve met.

It could be that creative people are more likely to venture into cross dressing but I think it might be something different. I think it’s more likely that if you’re prepared to get up on stage and risk the boos and the jeers of a live audience you’re more likely to be someone with the confidence to step into the world.

Whatever the reasons it was great to spend some time in her company. A beautiful woman with a fabulous voice.

This is just an excuse to post an old photo of me under a green light but it I do look a bit witchy.

I think maybe next year I’ll get a pointy hat and some green tinted foundation and go out in a proper outfit. I really do want to go to a cross dressing fancy dress party one day and Halloween looks like the best option for that.

My wife was a little bit upset when I went out like this. I put it down to us being on a family holiday but it was very early, I was only going to be out for a couple of hours and I’d be back before breakfast so I thought sod it and went.

I found out later it was because this was in the USA and not the UK so she was worried I would be shot 😮

But as luck would have it and beyond all reasonable logic there wasn’t a homicidal maniac with a gun hiding behind every bush.

It was quite sweet of her to be worried but I don’t think she needed to be that concerned. It was a very quiet and isolated trail with no other hikers on it and besides, people are just people the world over. I don’t think there would be any more problems with people here than back home.

One day, one trail, two outfits.

So did I really need two outfits?
Hell yeah, because I’m basically just a big old tart when it comes to a wardrobe change. I’ve always considered an outfit for the walk out and another to walk back in to be a darn fine plan.
