Last week I went down to Dunlaoghaire harbour on the off chance of catching a glimpse of the full moon. It was too cloudy for the moon to appear, but, as I was on the quay where the trawlers moor up, I managed to take a few photos of their fishing gear under the floodlights of the quay.

This church, Our Lady of the Wayside, is in Kilternan, Co. Dublin and is a very popular spot for weddings due to its “cuteness”. Kilternan sits at the bottom of the Wicklow mountains.

The old Sandymount Baths during golden hour. I was hoping the tide would be in a bit more and the waters would be choppier - but next time! This is an old swimming baths on the strand that would have been full of sea water at one stage and people would have swum in it all year round. It’s now derelict and a canvass for graffiti, but there is something special about it.
