This cardinal was in the flowering Dogwood Tree on a windy afternoon, and the wind suddenly blew his crest straight up into the air.

I laughed when I saw the image, since it made him look like he was a rebellious teenager, or something.

Another attempt to show why I love sycamores so much.

For all you lovers of sycamores:
You are in the woods, a bit shady under all the black and dark grey trunks and limbs, then you raise your eyes and behold the most glorious sight! Through the dark trunks and limbs of the surrounding trees you spot a glorious sycamore, shining white and silver and gold in the sunshine, wonderful against the blue winter sky!

I have tried so many hundreds of times to depict this experience, but have never quite gotten it!

This is my latest attempt! A little more successful, anyway!
